You Forget Something, Like My Cut? The Sopranos and Scissors

They say two things are certain in life: death and taxes. I say there are actually a couple or three: death, taxes, and disagreement over The Sopranos ending. This series finale puzzle is notable for its connection to certain phrases and objects that appear throughout the show. One example is scissors. And what do scissors do best? Well, they cut (verbs like “snip” and “chop” work, too). Wait, The Sopranos and scissors?

So, what’s my point exactly? Well, it was a fellow Sopranos super fan who brought the Made-In-America scissors to my attention in the first place. (side note-If you’d like to read his Paulie thesis, you can do so here). In any case, from that point on, I was picking up on another scissor or cutting reference in what seemed like every other episode. On that note, here are just some examples of The Sopranos and scissors:
